These are the terms for using clearbaydigital.com and for the offers shown on it. They're short on purpose. Anything you actually hire me to do is covered by a written service agreement we both sign, and where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
What this site is
Clearbay Digital is a sole proprietorship based in Hollister, California, offering website design, local SEO, Google Business Profile setup and hosting to small businesses. This site describes those services and lets you get in touch. It isn't a store — nothing is bought or sold on the site itself.
Prices and offers
The prices shown are current as of the date above and can change. Founding pricing is limited to a stated number of clients and ends when they're taken; the count on the pricing page is kept honest. A price on this site becomes a commitment only when it's written into a signed service agreement. The Google Profile Fix credit — $299 off a plan's setup fee if you buy one within 90 days — is likewise honored through the agreement.
The money-back guarantee
The 30-day money-back guarantee advertised on this site is real, and its exact terms are in the service agreement: it covers the setup fee, it runs from the day you receive your first draft, a refund ends the project rather than transferring the site, and it doesn't apply to the Google Profile Fix, which is work done on your own accounts that stays with you. It covers whether you're happy with the work. It does not cover search rankings, traffic or sales.
No promises about rankings
Nobody can guarantee where a business will appear in Google's results, and this site doesn't. What's described here is the work — done properly, with you able to leave at any time. Examples of past work are real projects, shown with the client's permission, and aren't a promise of the same outcome for yours.
Forms and your information
The forms on this site collect only what you type into them, and how that's handled is set out in the privacy policy. Submitting a form doesn't create a contract or an obligation on either side; it starts a conversation.
Content on this site
The words, design and images on clearbaydigital.com belong to Clearbay Digital unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to link to it. Please don't copy it. Websites built for clients belong to those clients — that's a promise made on this site and kept in every agreement.
Links to other sites
Where this site links to other sites — a client's site, Google, a form service — those sites have their own terms and policies, and this site isn't responsible for them.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that means the current terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
